Job Description
The Pilot Engagement Manager at Amperity is responsible for delivering proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the platform's value to clients, managing all phases from requirements gathering to solution configuration, and acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful pilot outcomes that lead to full customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of Proof of Capability pilot projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, platform configuration, and end-user enablement
- Translate client business goals into pilot designs that demonstrate relevant and impactful use cases
- Configure the Amperity platform to meet pilot specifications and drive project deliverables to completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful pilot execution
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating complex topics to both business and technical audiences
- Build understanding of client data to effectively configure solutions aligned with business priorities
- Manage multiple concurrent pilots with varying timelines and requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize pilot workflows using AI-driven approaches
Requirements
- 8 years experience in technical consulting, solution delivery, technical program management, or similar roles
- Experience running complex technical implementations end-to-end
- Experience managing partners across departments and levels, from practitioners to executives
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to bring structure where none exists
- Strong data fluency able to explore and interpret customer data, extract insights using SQL, and configure solutions
- Innovative problem solver who combines analytical thinking with creativity to solve situations without a clear playbook
- Adaptable, able to move fluidly between high-level design and technical detail, collaborating on strategy while diving deep when needed to deliver
- Gritty, able to keep driving toward outcomes even when challenges arise
- Knowledge of marketing technology stack
- Experience in a technical pre-sales role is a plus
