Job Description

The role involves providing administrative support and managing day-to-day office operations at Amber's Melbourne headquarters, ensuring a smooth and welcoming workplace environment while collaborating with leadership and team members in a fast-growing, purpose-driven company focused on renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Amber team
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and ensure a well-organized workspace
  • Coordinate with the Executive Business Partner and leadership team
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities
  • Support onboarding and visitor management
  • Assist with scheduling and calendar management for executives
  • Create a positive and welcoming workplace environment

Requirements

  • The candidate must be friendly, organized, and proactive in providing administrative support and managing day-to-day office operations.
  • The candidate must be able to work full-time, based in Melbourne, with the expectation of being in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at a minimum, with occasional flexibility to work from home.
  • The candidate must be able to work 0.8 FTE if preferred.
  • The candidate must have full working rights in Australia and be already based in Australia, preferably Melbourne.
  • The candidate must be willing to report to the Senior People Operations Manager and work closely with the Executive Business Partner.
  • The candidate must have the ability to keep the leadership team organized and the workspace running smoothly, well-stocked, and welcoming for team members and visitors.
  • The candidate must have the ability to develop a variety of business administration skills within a scale-up environment and collaborate with many key stakeholders.
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate initiative and attention to detail in a hands-on role.
  • The candidate must be able to participate in the company's hiring process, which includes a screening interview, a take-home exercise (1-2 hours), an interview with the hiring manager and a team member, and a final chat with a member of the leadership team.

Benefits & Perks

Salary range between 80,000 and 95,000 AUD per annum excluding superannuation
Employee stock options over and above the base salary and superannuation
Full-time role based in Melbourne with flexibility to work from home occasionally
Work schedule includes in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at a minimum
