Job Description
A Software Engineer II role focused on full-stack development using Python and related web technologies, contributing to innovative solutions in mass communications and emergency response platforms within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the AlertMedia platform, tools, and their uses for customers
- Develop and deliver software solutions using Python, Django, Node.js, Next.js, and other web technologies
- Collaborate in an Agile environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
- Contribute to innovative development and suggest new ideas to leverage technology in products
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure quality and impactful product delivery
Requirements
- Must have 4-5 years of experience building scalable applications with Python and other modern frameworks.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms is required.
- Proficiency in working with web technologies such as Python, Django, Node.js, Next.js, and Postgres.
- Development experience with Redis is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
