Job Description

A Sales Development Representative at AlertMedia is responsible for engaging strategic targets through outbound prospecting, building relationships with prospects, and supporting the growth of the company's emergency communication solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high volume prospecting and outreach to generate qualified leads.
  • Partner with Account Executives to engage new customers and support prospecting efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  • Develop and refine prospecting strategies in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Demonstrate AlertMedia's products and key differentiators to prospects.
  • Manage and log activities and pipeline using Salesforce.com and other tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales development or prospecting role, with the ability to conduct high volume prospecting and phone outreach for qualified leads using tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Account Executives to engage new customers and support prospecting efforts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  • Experience using a consultative approach to advise prospects on communication solutions and demonstrate products and key differentiators conversationally.
  • Passion for sales with an ability to exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and ability to set demos and meetings.
  • Outstanding organization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to self-manage pipeline, activity, and tasks with autonomy and collaboration.
  • Experience managing and logging tasks and activities regularly and correctly in Salesforce.com is preferred.
  • Must be located in Austin or surrounding areas, as this is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
  • Must be a proactive, consultative, and likable person who loves selling and wants to continue down a sales career path.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced or high-growth sales environment is preferred.
  • A passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
