Job Description
A Software Engineer II role focused on full-stack development using Python and modern web technologies, contributing to AlertMedia's emergency communication platform through innovative software solutions and collaborative teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the AlertMedia platform, tools, and their uses for customers
- Develop and deliver software solutions using Python, Django, Node.js, Next.js, and other web technologies
- Collaborate in an Agile environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
- Contribute to technological innovation and suggest new ideas to enhance the product line
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure quality and impactful development
Requirements
- Must have 4-5 years of experience building scalable applications with Python and other modern frameworks.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud platforms is required.
- Proficiency in working with web technologies such as Python, Django, Node.js, Next.js, and related frameworks.
- Experience with Postgres and Redis development is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English (both written and oral).
