The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and executing scalable training programs to enhance sales team performance, including onboarding, product training, and skills development, utilizing instructional design principles and various learning technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support sales training and enablement programs across the seller lifecycle, including onboarding, product training, and skills development.
Facilitate onboarding sessions and readiness checkpoints for new hires to accelerate their ramp-up.
Translate sales strategy, product knowledge, messaging, and processes into engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles.
Design and support instructor-led and virtual training sessions tailored to different roles and audiences.
Create, maintain, and optimize eLearning content, assessments, and certifications using authoring tools and learning management systems.
Manage and optimize the Sales experience within Docebo and Seismic platforms, including content governance and adoption reporting.
Curate and maintain a Gong library to ensure content is accessible, standardized, and regularly used.
Scope enablement initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of training programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align enablement programs with business priorities and define success metrics.
Analyze enablement data, measure program effectiveness, and recommend improvements to enhance sales readiness and productivity.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience in Training, Sales Enablement, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
Preferred 2 years of experience in Sales.
Proven experience owning and evolving enablement programs, including creating original courseware.
Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.
Hands-on experience designing and authoring eLearning content, using AI capabilities to support multimodal learning approaches.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Rise Storyline to build engaging, scalable learning content.
Hands-on experience administering and optimizing Seismic and/or Docebo, including governance, content structure, and adoption reporting.
Experience designing instructor-led training and virtual instructor-led training for sales or customer-facing roles.
Engaging facilitation style with the ability to build credibility across experience levels.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Data-driven approach to defining KPIs and using insights to improve programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
High adaptability and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and Seismic.
Ability to translate sales strategy, product knowledge, messaging, systems, and processes into clear, engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles.
Ability to scope enablement trainings, manage timelines and milestones, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Learning and Development, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Talent Acquisition, and subject matter experts to align programs with business priorities.
Define goals, KPIs, and success metrics to measure effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Manage enablement analytics and communicate progress and outcomes through regular updates and quarterly reviews.
Incorporate emerging tools and technologies, including AI, to improve content creation, engagement, and operational efficiency.
