Job Description
The Enterprise Account Executive at AlertMedia is responsible for selling emergency communication software to large enterprise clients, building relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving new business growth in the Northern European market through consultative and strategic sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell the AlertMedia software platform to large enterprise organizations.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships within assigned territory.
- Generate and qualify sales pipeline through prospecting and outreach activities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and meetings to showcase platform capabilities.
- Identify customer pain points and align solutions to their needs across stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives and marketing to build pipeline.
- Manage the sales process including proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Transition closed deals to Customer Success Managers and pursue expansion opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a consultative, prospect-to-close technology sales role with the ability to articulate past strategies and successes in both an inside and face-to-face setting
- Experience in successfully selling B2B software solutions from prospecting to close
- Ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and ability to self-set demos and meetings
- Experience negotiating enterprise-level deals with integrity, including the ability to turn pricing conversations into value-add conversations
- Ability to uncover and quantify customer pain points and associate those pains back to the AlertMedia solutions across various stakeholders within enterprise accounts
- Proficiency in using Salesforce.com to manage and log tasks and activities regularly and correctly
- Accurate forecasting ability to provide insights for the organization
- Knowledge of various Sales Methodologies, specifically AlertMedia leverages Force Management MEDDPICC
- Willingness and ability to travel within the territory 10-20% of the time
