Job Description

The Enterprise Account Executive at AlertMedia is responsible for selling emergency communication software to large enterprise clients, building relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving new business growth in the Northern European market through consultative and strategic sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell AlertMedia's software platform to large enterprise organizations to improve emergency communication and critical event management.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within assigned territory, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Generate and qualify sales pipeline through prospecting, outreach, and engaging with potential clients using various tools.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and meetings to showcase platform features and benefits.
  • Identify customer pain points and align solutions to address their communication challenges across stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, marketing, and internal teams to drive sales activities and pipeline growth.
  • Manage the sales process including proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Transition closed deals to Customer Success Managers and pursue expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems to forecast bookings and provide sales insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a consultative, prospect-to-close technology sales role with the ability to articulate past strategies and successes in both an inside and face-to-face setting
  • Experience in successfully selling B2B software solutions, from prospecting to close
  • Ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and ability to self-set demos and meetings
  • Background of negotiating enterprise-level deals with integrity, including the ability to turn pricing conversations into value-add conversations
  • Ability to uncover challenges and opportunities within prospects and internally through genuine curiosity
  • Experience managing and logging tasks and activities regularly and correctly in Salesforce.com
  • Accurate forecasting ability
  • Knowledge of various Sales Methodologies, including Force Management MEDDPICC
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the territory 10-20% of the time
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to partner with Enterprise Sales Development Representatives and work closely with marketing and sales leadership teams
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other outbound prospecting techniques
  • Ability to build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business within existing enterprise accounts
  • Ability to transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and pursue land and expand opportunities
