Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable communication protocols for IoT devices, leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across teams to enhance the performance, security, and reliability of smart home technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Architect scalable, high-performance solutions for device protocol communications.
- Guide the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technical solutions.
- Make strategic technical decisions and influence project architecture.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of professional software development experience, with proven success in delivering complex projects.
- Advanced object-oriented programming skills, preferably in C++.
- Strong experience with database design, SQL, and backend services.
- Experience in the development of distributed systems, real-time communications, or high-performance applications.
- Solid track record of implementing and improving unit testing and automated testing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
