Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager at OpenEye is responsible for selling video management solutions to channel partners in the Central California region, building relationships, managing territory sales efforts, and supporting regional development of key partners in the physical security industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales goals through effective territory management
- Build relationships with regional accounts, dealers, and distribution partners
- Manage sales efforts including goal setting, training, joint sales calls, and presentations
- Develop regional key national partners through training and joint sales activities
- Attend regional and national trade shows and market events
- Create sales strategies, set appointments, and prepare management reports
- Resolve customer issues professionally with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in a technology discipline
- 3 years Business to Business sales experience
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to travel overnight 70-85% of the time including some weekends
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset
- Possess corporate level presentation reporting abilities
- Technical aptitude
- Account development skills
