Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager at OpenEye is responsible for selling their cloud-based video management solutions to channel partners and developing regional accounts within the Rocky Mountain area, focusing on achieving sales goals, building relationships, and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales goals through effective territory management
- Build relationships with regional accounts, dealers, and distribution partners
- Manage sales efforts including goal setting, training, joint sales calls, and regional development of key partners
- Prepare for and attend regional and national trade shows and market events
- Create sales strategies, set appointments, and prepare management reports
- Resolve customer issues professionally in collaboration with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in a technology discipline
- 3 years Business to Business sales experience
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to travel overnight 70 85 of the time including some weekends
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mind set
- Possess corporate level presentation reporting abilities
- Technical aptitude
- Account development skills
- Sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization or any other immigration-related support is not available for this position
