Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager at OpenEye is responsible for selling their video management solutions to channel partners and developing regional accounts through relationship building, sales strategies, and trade show participation in Indiana and Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales goals through effective territory management
- Build and maintain relationships with regional accounts, dealers, and distribution partners
- Manage sales efforts including goal setting, training, joint sales calls, and presentations
- Develop regional key national partners through training and joint sales activities
- Prepare for and attend regional and national trade shows and market events
- Allocate time for strategic planning, appointment setting, and management reporting
- Resolve customer issues professionally in collaboration with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in a technology discipline
- 3 years Business to Business sales experience
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to travel overnight 70-85% of the time including some weekends
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mind set
- Possess corporate level presentation reporting abilities
- Technical aptitude
- Account development skills
