Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager at OpenEye is responsible for selling their video management systems to channel partners and developing regional accounts in Indiana and Michigan, focusing on achieving sales goals, building relationships, and managing territory growth within the physical security industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales goals through effective territory management
- Build and maintain relationships with regional accounts, dealers, and distribution partners
- Manage sales efforts including goal setting, training, joint sales calls, and end-user presentations
- Develop regional key national partners through training and joint sales activities
- Attend regional and national trade shows and vertical market events
- Create sales strategies, set appointments, and prepare management reports
- Resolve customer issues professionally with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in a technology discipline
- 3 years Business to Business sales experience
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to travel overnight 70-85% of the time including some weekends
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset
- Possess corporate level presentation reporting abilities
- Technical aptitude
- Account development skills
