Job Description

The Business Development Manager for Mexico is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, managing partner relationships, and promoting the adoption of Alarm.com's cloud-based security and IoT solutions within the Mexican market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities with partners and integrators in Mexico.
  • Maintain, strengthen, and expand relationships with existing accounts and new clients.
  • Drive adoption and growth of Alarm.com’s platform, cloud services, and connected solutions within partner organizations.
  • Conduct in-person visits, presentations, demos, and business reviews with partners across Mexico.
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with commercial goals and market potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful partner onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • Monitor market trends, identify expansion opportunities, and provide feedback to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Based in Mexico major metropolitan areas preferred
  • 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience, ideally in technology or related industries
  • Proven ability to operate as both a hunter and a relationship builder
  • Ability to travel up to 60-70% within Mexico to engage with dealer and channel partners
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and verbal
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient and up-to-date knowledge of cloud technologies, IoT, connected devices, and SaaS business models (experience in these areas is preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural customer-service orientation
  • Excellent consultative selling and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and commitment to meeting deadlines, even during high-volume periods
