Job Description
A Software Engineer II role focused on developing and maintaining scalable, full-stack software solutions that enable seamless communication between IoT devices in smart homes, working closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and deploy hardware-interacting applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software across multiple platforms and technologies
- Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to address technical challenges
- Participate in the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions that meet business and technical needs
- Contribute ideas and insights to product development beyond just implementing specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Two or more years of professional software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills with proficiency in C preferred.
- Experience with database design, SQL, and backend development.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
