Job Description

The role involves providing executive support to the India Country Director and managing office administration functions to ensure smooth daily operations of the Mumbai office, including coordinating schedules, travel, meetings, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the India Country Director's daily schedule and travel arrangements
  • Prepare, submit, and track expense reports following organizational policies
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Prepare meeting briefing materials and attend meetings to take notes and follow up on action items
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives through basic analysis and information synthesis
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the office by liaising with vendors and IT service providers
  • Coordinate logistics for visits by senior leadership, including transportation and travel arrangements
  • Provide administrative support to the Acumen Academy team, including document management and due diligence processes
  • Support data verification, collection, and integration across organizational databases and platforms

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in office administration and providing executive support to senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, follow through on commitments, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proven capability to coordinate vendor payments in a timely manner, ensuring transparency and close collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to quickly learn tools such as Slack, NetSuite, or equivalent platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver with sound judgment.
  • Self-reflective, values-driven, and aligned with Acumen’s mission and values.
  • Permanent authorization to work in India.
