The Manager of Test Engineering will lead and execute testing processes for high-power electronic converters, ensuring product quality from prototype to production through developing test procedures, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, document, and execute electrical test procedures for high power converters
Support testing from prototype to production
Develop manual and automated test stands and scripts
Collaborate with software and hardware engineers on development testing
Troubleshoot failures in lab and field environments
Generate and document test results
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in power electronics packaging and thermal design
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS)
10 years of testing experience
Experience in testing and debugging of power electronic boards in the area of power conversion
Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, data loggers, multimeters, data acquisition systems, and power supplies
Ability to identify root causes of failures and implement fixes
Working knowledge of power electronics fundamentals
Experience in developing, documenting, and executing electrical test procedures for high power converters
Experience in developing manual and automated test stands and test scripts
Experience supporting testing from prototype to production
Ability to generate documentation and document test results
Experience collaborating with software and hardware engineers on development testing
Ability to troubleshoot failures in lab and field environments
