Job Description
The Vice President of Clean Energy Deployment Operations at Nexamp will oversee pre-deployment, estimation, and operational improvements to enhance project execution and organizational integration in the clean energy sector. This leadership role focuses on risk evaluation, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive productivity and efficiency in clean energy projects.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee Pre-Deployment, Estimation, and CED Operations digitization.
- •Manage the pre-construction phase of projects, including planning, estimating, and scheduling.
- •Develop and improve CED Operations processes and technologies in collaboration with various departments.
- •Guide and mentor the estimating team for accurate pricing and cost tracking.
- •Coordinate cross-functionally to align project objectives and support debt and tax equity execution.
- •Facilitate a lean operational culture to enhance workforce productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
Requirements
- •10 years of solar and/or storage field operations at DG and/or utility scale level, preferably with experience in a PV and/or storage Project Manager role.
- •5 years of cross-functional project leadership with experience leading strategic planning and implementation.
- •5 years of hands-on experience in continuous process improvement, experienced or certified in Quality or Process Excellence methodologies preferred.
- •Experience managing a team, creating a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- •Excellent interpersonal skills able to collaborate across the business.
- •Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- •Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- •Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
