Job Description
The District Manager at Pure Storage will lead and inspire a team of Commercial Account Executives in the ANZ territory, focusing on recruiting talent, driving sales performance, and building strong relationships with channel partners to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- •Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Commercial Account Executives across the ANZ territory.
- •Hire, develop, and retain top talent as the territory expands.
- •Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the extended Pure Storage team.
- •Drive performance by managing execution of key KPIs, including pipeline growth and forecast accuracy.
- •Build and nurture strong relationships with key channel partners.
- •Drive sales activities to ensure team members meet or exceed sales targets.
- •Deliver business results, including achieving annual bookings goals and securing new logos.
- •Implement a structured performance management approach, including weekly forecast calls and pipeline reviews.
Requirements
- •Proven track record of excellence in IT sales leadership across the ANZ region, preferably within the commercial sector.
- •10 years of successful field sales experience in storage or core IT infrastructure within a highly competitive environment.
- •Strong track record in sales team management, with proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- •Strong ability to recruit, develop, and coach high-performing sales professionals.
- •Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key channel partners.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate Pure Storage's value proposition clearly and effectively.
- •Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and make data-driven decisions.
- •Ability to coordinate internal resources effectively to execute complex sales strategies.
- •Proficiency in CRM tools and other sales productivity platforms.
- •Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.
