Job Description

The Business Development Analyst at Brightcore Energy is responsible for client-facing sales activities aimed at expanding the company's market reach and opportunity pipeline, focusing on clean energy solutions. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting customer engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client-facing sales activities to expand market reach.
  • Assist with new and existing customer engagements, including outreach and follow-up.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer data.
  • Analyze and evaluate potential target sites for energy opportunities.
  • Identify sales opportunities through cold-calling and research.
  • Build and sustain relationships with leads to convert them into customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic goals.
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance customer engagement and sales strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity for business opportunities.
  • Provide research and insights for sales strategies and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, engineering, business administration or similar
  • 1-2 years of experience in related sales or research support position preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as HubSpot
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong listening and sales skills
  • Ability to achieve targets
  • Travel required up to 10% within the Northeast
  • Physical demands representative of those that must be met to perform essential functions

Benefits & Perks

Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000
Work schedule: Minimum of 30 hours per week, average of 40 hours with overtime required
