Job Description

The role involves leading the global sales recruiting organization at Samsara, focusing on hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing sales recruiters while driving improvements in hiring efficiency and quality. The position requires strategic workforce planning and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to influence sales talent strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the hiring strategy for multiple core sales segments.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a team of high-performing sales recruiters and sourcers.
  • Drive improvements in hiring efficiency and quality.
  • Lead global cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Partner with stakeholders on workforce planning.
  • Manage key sales executive stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide regular reporting and market insights to sales executives.
  • Enforce a compliant and inclusive recruiting approach.
  • Establish systems and processes to improve hiring quality and team productivity.
  • Facilitate regular department trainings with hiring managers and interviewers.
  • Influence sales organization-wide change management initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders on talent strategy roadmapping.
  • Manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity.
  • Own weekly and quarterly reporting to sales executives.
  • Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in talent acquisition.
  • 3 years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring, managing, and coaching a high volume, quota-carrying, sales recruiting team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from raw data sets and experience with Excel formulas and pivot tables.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to an executive level audience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
