Job Description
The Senior Workday Developer at Samsara will design, develop, implement, and maintain complex integrations within the Workday ecosystem, focusing on enhancing HR and people operations efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex integrations within the Workday ecosystem.
- Own and maintain all US Workday Payroll Integrations and Benefit Integrations.
- Help resolve integration issues requiring in-depth expertise in the Workday solution.
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to gather integration requirements and design solutions.
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio and EIBs.
- Design and implement data transformation, mapping, and processes for data accuracy.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integrations to ensure data integrity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Proactively monitor integrations and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate integrations and resolve issues.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and suggest improvements for integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years as an Integrations Developer within Workday HRIS.
- Strong proficiency in Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and custom report transformations, Workday security, BP administration, alert notification, advanced report writing, and calculated fields.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday APIs and Web Services.
- Demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources related domains, HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other Workday integration tools.
- Ensure that all integrations comply with data security, privacy, and compliance standards, including GDPR and other relevant regulations.

Compensation/salary range: 112,625 - 145,750 CAD
