Job Description
The Principal Product Manager for the Automations Platform at Samsara will develop features that enable customers to create automated workflows based on IoT events, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic roadmap ownership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leveraging data to drive product development.
Responsibilities
- •Own the strategy product roadmap for the Automations Platform.
- •Leverage data to understand customer requirements and market needs.
- •Work with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to drive execution.
- •Communicate across product line leadership to share the roadmap and priorities.
- •Partner with customer-facing teams to close strategic accounts and resolve escalations.
- •Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural values.
Requirements
- •Deep expertise in product management with a proven track record of operating delivering complex initiatives.
- •Excellent technical understanding, ability to grasp technical concepts and establish credibility with engineers.
- •Strong analytical skills, strategic mindset and the ability to synthesize customer insights and data into a cohesive strategy and product roadmap independently.
- •A proven track record of delivering outstanding results for customers and the business, managing significant complexity and tight timelines.
- •Excellent communication skills, must be comfortable presenting to customers, executives, and internal audiences, adjusting your communication style based on your audience.
- •10 years of job experience in relevant product, technical, and/or business roles.
- •7 years of experience in product management.
- •Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field.
