Job Description
The Marketing Specialist at Atwell, LLC will lead and support marketing communications and business strategies, focusing on the public market sector. This role involves preparing high-impact proposals, collaborating with technical teams, and coordinating client-facing events to enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support internal and external business strategies and marketing communications.
- Prepare high-impact proposals and marketing content for public sector clients.
- Collaborate with technical teams to craft competitive messages for public sector markets.
- Coordinate strategic client-facing events and brand-aligned communications.
- Drive strategy around key clients and market expansions through proposals and revenue generation.
- Develop and execute proposal capture plans with research needs and action items.
- Engage in go/no-go decisions and marketing quality assurance for proposal reviews.
- Collect, organize, and repurpose data and content for proposals and marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and champion the brand visually.
- Support industry conferences and events through tradeshow booth design and marketing collateral.
Requirements
- Proven experience preparing and coordinating SF 330 proposals for federal and public agency clients.
- Strong knowledge of the RFQ RFP process for municipalities, state agencies, and public utilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary proposals with multiple team members or subconsultants.
- Ability to interpret solicitation requirements and develop compliant, compelling responses.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal procurement regulations and guidelines.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and formatting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and other proposal production tools.
- Experience collaborating with technical staff to develop project narratives, resumes, and work plans tailored to public-sector clients.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong graphic design and layout skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in-person and virtual.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in professional services proposal qualification generation.
