Job Description
The Senior Manager for Client Services at Energy Solutions will collaborate with leadership to drive organizational strategy, enhance client relationships, and oversee operational improvements, while managing a remote workforce and ensuring effective team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to set and drive organizational vision and operational strategy.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals and execute relevant projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop relationships with Client Services department leaders to understand their needs and opportunities.
- Assess and improve policies, systems, and processes throughout the organization.
- Report on Client Services department performance, opportunities, and challenges to the Executive Vice President.
- Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives.
- Create working environments that equip and motivate employees to excel.
- Oversee and implement organizational risk management processes.
- Strategize opportunities to enhance department synergies and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of work experience including at least 5 years in a supervisory and leadership capacity.
- Experience in strategy and planning for a mid-size company with demonstrated command of roles with increasing responsibility.
- Demonstrated outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to anticipate risk and develop risk mitigation strategy proposals.
- Significant experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or Utility technologies concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrix structure and manage teams comprised of both direct and indirect resources.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and possess demonstrated customer service understanding.
- Solid financial acumen including budgeting, cost management, and maximizing profitability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of adapting style to different audiences and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to make quick decisions and generate buy-in from leadership team members.
- Ability to conceptualize and execute deadline driven projects with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects.
- Ability to travel for business approximately 1x quarterly.
- High level proficient skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint to communicate, develop presentations and perform analysis.
- Ability to pass a compulsory background check and drug screen.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
