Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee and manage technical projects related to energy efficiency and sustainability, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions for utilities and government clients. The role requires experience in project management, familiarity with building energy technologies, and the ability to conduct market research and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall direction, quality control, and completion of project deliverables
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks
- Facilitate the progress of multiple projects to conclusion
- Communicate project progress to management and clients
- Interact with customers, clients, and external collaborators
- Conduct market research and data analysis
- Track industry trends and market changes impacting energy efficiency
- Organize and facilitate virtual meetings and conference calls
- Conduct outreach to industry stakeholders
- Manage subcontractors, including invoicing
- Conduct literature searches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an energy-related or policy-related discipline
- Minimum of two years of work-related experience or four years in lieu of a degree
- Technical experience in lighting, HVAC, water heating, envelope, industrial processes, electric vehicles, demand response, distributed generation, and related technology solutions
- Experience with energy codes and standards and/or specification development
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with task management software such as Monday.com
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work and thrive independently
- Willingness to conduct occasional business travel
