Job Description
The Contracts Engineer is responsible for managing procurement and contract administration for industrial fabrication and services, ensuring cost efficiency, vendor reliability, and timely project execution within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end service procurement and contract administration for fabrication and industrial services
- Ensure cost optimization, vendor reliability, and contractual compliance
- Coordinate with engineering, projects, QA/QC, plant operations, and vendors to ensure timely service execution
- Mitigate risks associated with procurement and contracts
- Support project-based procurement within oil and gas process equipment sectors
Requirements
- Experience as a Contracts Engineer managing end-to-end service procurement and contract administration for fabrication and allied industrial services.
- Strong techno-commercial expertise in project-based procurement within Oil Gas Fired Equipment and Process Equipment sectors.
- Vendor development capability to ensure vendor reliability and performance.
- Experience in ensuring cost optimization, contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and on-time project execution.
- Ability to coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, QA QC, Plant Operations, and vendors to ensure timely service execution aligned with quality and budget objectives.
- Proficiency in managing contracts and procurement activities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Experience working on complex industrial projects aligned with global standards and international best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a professional work setting within a modern office environment equipped with international-standard amenities.
- Willingness to work at the Wada facility located in District Palghar, Maharashtra, with an understanding of the local work environment and operational exposure to real-time fabrication and project activities.
