Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing sales of capital equipment in major industrial markets within the Northeast and Midwest U.S., working with end users and EPC firms to develop and close complex projects in refining, petrochemical, and hydrocarbon processing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a strategic territory focused on refining, petrochemical, and hydrocarbon processing customers.
- Develop opportunities and close complex capital projects with corporate end users, EPC firms, and key decision makers.
- Lead capital equipment sales efforts across major industrial markets in the Northeast and Midwest U.S.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales, specifically in capital equipment growth across industrial markets such as refining, petrochemical, and hydrocarbon processing.
- Ability to work directly with corporate end users, EPC firms, and key decision makers to develop opportunities and close complex capital projects.
- Experience in managing and growing a strategic territory in the Northeast and Midwest U.S., with a focus on major metropolitan areas including New York City, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Boston, MA, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD, Newark, NJ, and Chicago, IL.
- Demonstrated success in environments involving long-cycle capital projects, with full ownership of territory growth.
- Strong technical sales skills and the ability to thrive in a high-impact role requiring technical knowledge of capital equipment.
- Ability to develop and close complex capital projects across the region, indicating experience with project development and sales cycle management.
