Job Description
The Procurement Engineer Buyer for Control Instrumentation and mechanical electrical equipment is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes for international power burner projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery through vendor management and coordination with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of Control Instrumentation and mechanical electrical equipment for international power burner projects
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution
- Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure procurement activities align with project specifications, budgets, and schedules
Requirements
- Possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation (preferred)
- Have 6 to 12 years of experience in procurement or related roles
- Be responsible for end-to-end procurement of Control Instrumentation (C I) and associated mechanical electrical equipment for international power burner projects
- Demonstrate strong techno-commercial acumen
- Have vendor management expertise
- Ability to coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution
