Job Description
The Instrument and Controls Engineer - Vapor is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems for combustion and environmental solutions, supporting industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power generation. The role involves technical excellence, collaboration with industry experts, and contributing to innovative and sustainable performance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for vapor combustion applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to specify and select appropriate control components and equipment.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper operation and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrument and controls engineering, specifically related to vapor systems.
- Experience in designing, engineering, and troubleshooting control systems for vapor applications.
- Proficiency in control system design and implementation, including knowledge of control hardware and software.
- Ability to interpret and develop control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Experience with instrumentation selection, calibration, and installation for vapor control systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to instrumentation and controls in vapor systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex control system issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and support groups.
- Physical ability to perform site visits and inspections as required.
