Job Description
The Instrument and Controls Engineer - Vapor is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems for combustion and environmental solutions, supporting industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power generation. The role involves collaborating with technical teams to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems for vapor combustion applications.
- Specify and select appropriate instrumentation and control components for projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems into overall plant design and operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrument and controls engineering, specifically in designing, engineering, or supporting control systems for combustion, incineration, or environmental control systems.
- Experience with designing, engineering, or supporting control systems for burners, incinerators, or environmental control systems.
- Proficiency in control system design, including instrumentation, control panels, and automation systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to instrumentation and controls in combustion and environmental systems.
- Ability to interpret and develop control system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience working in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, or power generation is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot control system issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and support groups.
- Physical ability to perform site visits, inspections, and installation support as required.
- Willingness to work in the Milan area at Zeeco's Lissone office.
