Job Description

The Instrument and Controls Engineer - Flares is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for flare and combustion equipment, supporting Zeeco's mission to deliver innovative environmental and combustion solutions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, engineer, and troubleshoot instrument and control systems for flare applications
  • Develop and implement control strategies for combustion and environmental systems
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper integration of instrumentation and controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering, specifically related to flare systems or combustion systems.
  • Proven experience in designing, engineering, and troubleshooting control systems for flares, burners, incinerators, or environmental control systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to instrumentation and controls in combustion and environmental applications.
  • Ability to interpret and develop control system drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Experience with control system software and hardware used in flare and combustion systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and environmental compliance requirements related to flare systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues related to instrumentation and controls.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Willingness to work at the Zeeco Lissone office in the Milan area.
