Job Description
A Field Service Engineer at Zeeco is responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of combustion and environmental systems across various industries to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain combustion and environmental control systems at client sites
- Perform on-site inspections and diagnostics to identify system issues
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering or a related technical role involving combustion systems, environmental control systems, burners, or incinerators.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex combustion and environmental control equipment in the field.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of combustion and environmental systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals related to burners, incinerators, and environmental control systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management in a technical environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required by the job.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering fields preferred.
- Physical ability to perform field service tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and operating hand and power tools.
