Job Description
The Field Service and Commissioning Engineer PLC Automation is responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining automation systems in industrial environments, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards on global projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field service and commissioning of PLC automation systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain combustion and environmental control equipment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper system integration and operation
Requirements
- Proven experience in field service and commissioning of PLC automation systems, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems in industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, configuration, and maintenance, including familiarity with common PLC brands and software tools.
- Educational qualification of at least a diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to interpret electrical and control system diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and work in field conditions as required.
- Physical ability to perform field service tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined or industrial environments.
