Job Description
A Collections Analyst responsible for monitoring customer accounts, managing delinquent payments, and executing collection strategies to ensure timely payments while maintaining strong customer relationships and minimizing financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on open and past due invoices using accounts receivable aging reports
- Post daily payments to customer accounts in multiple currencies
- Create credit and debit memos
- Communicate with internal project teams and customers to research and resolve invoice payment issues
- Prepare and present reports on overdue invoices to upper management
- Provide customer support through effective communication and timely responses
- Respond to customer queries, conduct investigations, and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
- At least 3 years of collections or related experience
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Professional and customer service focused
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a group setting
- Ability to work on several projects and assignments concurrently while maintaining normal job duties and timelines
- Ability to adjust priorities to changing circumstances and meet deadlines
- Effective interpersonal oral and written communication skills to work with personnel at all organizational levels, both foreign and domestic
- Ability to generate and implement process improvements
- Ability to work with and handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- High attention to detail
