A Collections Analyst responsible for monitoring customer accounts, managing delinquent payments, and executing collection strategies to ensure timely payments while maintaining strong customer relationships and minimizing financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on open and past due invoices using accounts receivable aging reports
Post daily payments to customer accounts in multiple currencies
Create credit and debit memos
Communicate with internal project teams and customers to research and resolve invoice payment issues
Prepare and present reports on overdue invoices to upper management
Provide customer support through effective communication and timely responses
Respond to customer queries, conduct investigations, and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
At least 3 years of collections or related experience
Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Professional and customer service focused
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a group setting
Ability to work on several projects and assignments concurrently while maintaining normal job duties and timelines
Ability to adjust priorities to changing circumstances and meet deadlines
Effective interpersonal oral and written communication skills to work with personnel at all organizational levels, both foreign and domestic
Ability to generate and implement process improvements
Ability to work with and handle highly sensitive and confidential information
High attention to detail
