Job Description
A skilled fitter welder responsible for performing advanced TIG and flux-core welding on stainless and carbon steel assemblies to produce high-precision combustion components, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit and weld high precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies according to specifications and engineering drawings
- Operate advanced TIG and flux-core welding equipment on complex combustion components
- Maintain equipment and uphold safety and health standards
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass post-weld testing criteria
- Work independently on engineered-to-order combustion parts with exceptional craftsmanship
Requirements
- Experienced welders with advanced TIG and flux-core welding skills on stainless and carbon steel to support custom engineered combustion parts manufacturing operations.
- Ability to fit and weld high precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies in accordance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), engineering drawings, and strict quality standards.
- Capability to work on complex, engineered-to-order combustion components that require exceptional fit-up, craftsmanship, and adherence to code-quality welds.
- Highly skilled fitter welder who can operate independently.
- Ability to maintain welding equipment.
- Ability to uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Consistently deliver welds that meet post-weld testing criteria.
