Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer specializing in React and front-end technologies, responsible for developing secure, maintainable, and high-quality web applications in a collaborative, remote environment, primarily serving clients in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users, vendors, and stakeholders to develop solutions addressing business problems.
- Design and develop robust, secure, and maintainable technical solutions following best practices.
- Coordinate with testing teams to ensure solutions are fully tested, including creating and executing automated test scripts.
- Support production systems by resolving issues within SLA, providing updates, and maintaining system documentation.
- Communicate regularly with the team regarding project progress, issues, and risks.
- Contribute to the team by staying updated on recent technology trends.
- Contribute to overall department goals and objectives.
Requirements
- 5 years experience using client-side JavaScript-based technology with experience using React.
- Skilled in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Bootstrap framework, and CSS.
- Experience with TypeScript, and its utility types.
- Experience with SASS, BEM, and SMACSS.
- Strong working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern browser technologies and JSON over REST-based data exchange.
- Experience designing secure web applications, with specific experience in charting in JavaScript.
- Experience ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment.
- Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML and modern front-end tooling.
- Experience investigating and improving front-end performance.
- Experience with IDEs and Git-based source control tools.
- Experience working within a recognized software development lifecycle Agile.
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Java is highly desirable.
- Experience with NPM is highly desirable.
- Experience developing single-page applications is highly desirable.
- Experience in React Native is highly desirable.
- Experience building applications with accessibility features is desirable.
- Experience with Thymeleaf is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in developing software according to technical designs (nice to have).
- Experience with AngularJS and Angular 2 frameworks (nice to have).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workloads, and achieve critical deadlines.
