Job Description
A leadership role responsible for developing and executing quality assurance and automation strategies within a cross-functional team, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and compliant financial platforms through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the overall testing and automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business value and regulatory standards.
- Act as the primary quality reference for stakeholders, engineering teams, and client leadership.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using industry best practices.
- Define and implement a comprehensive compatibility testing strategy, including third-party integrations.
- Drive Shift-Left quality practices to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, providing strategic oversight and hands-on support.
- Analyze technical risks and communicate issues proactively to ensure resilient financial platforms.
- Refine QA processes and monitor quality metrics to promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10 years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years focused on front-end and back-end automation.
- Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch e.g., Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured.
- Proven experience defining strategies for compatibility testing and complex third-party integrations e.g., Salesforce.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or JavaScript, and adherence to clean code principles.
- Deep experience in Agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence quality at all organizational levels.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and supporting engineering teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset for analyzing complex business domains.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
- All testing activities must meet the rigorous standards of a regulated financial environment.
