Job Description
A Senior Full-Stack Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions in a microservices architecture, with a focus on green energy projects, utilizing React, NestJS, and data technologies, while contributing to technical innovation and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, QA, deploy, and maintain new and existing features throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers to improve the product and provide technical input.
- Make architecture decisions and participate in maintaining and improving micro-service architecture.
- Work with engineers to identify and mitigate technical debt.
- Drive technical innovation and develop sustainable solutions for challenges such as data processing scalability and AI integration.
Requirements
- Five years of relevant hands-on experience in product development, including Frontend React, Redux, Backend NestJS, and Data PostgreSQL.
- Ability to write well-structured and high-quality code that is easily maintainable by others.
- Curiosity about new technologies including AI, with some experience on how to use AI to make the development process more efficient (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for ClimateTech and a strong commitment to fighting climate change.
- Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Responsibility for the full software development lifecycle, including designing, implementing, testing, QA, deploying, and maintaining new and existing features.
- Ability to contribute to product improvement by being a sparring partner to product managers.
- Ability to make architecture decisions as a key member of an engineering team.
- Participation in discussions on how to maintain and improve micro-service architecture.
- Work closely with other engineers to identify and mitigate technical debt.
- Contributing to driving technical innovation and finding sustainable solutions for technical challenges such as upscaling application components to process large amounts of data.
- Further developing data pipelines and data warehousing to enable near-real-time data processing and insights generation.
- Driving the integration of AI solutions together with the data team.
