Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer specializing in PHP to develop and improve a digital platform for the fitness industry, working within a collaborative, innovative, and remote-friendly environment to create scalable and high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for the fitness industry.
- Write clean, scalable, and flexible code to enhance platform performance.
- Improve the scalability and performance of the platform.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional and technical growth.
- Utilize Agile, Lean, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies in software development.
Requirements
- 7 years of industry experience in a software engineering role where you can demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the product and or the team.
- Hands-on experience with PHP.
- Experience with CakePHP and MongoDB.
- Experience with another programming language e.g. JavaScript, Golang, etc.
- Experience with Cloud preferably AWS.
- Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods in an Agile Lean Continuous Delivery environment.
- Solid knowledge of Quality and Testing principles.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
- Desire to help and mentor others.
