Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing and improving a digital platform in the fitness industry, working with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-quality software solutions using Golang and cloud technologies, while mentoring others and contributing to an inclusive, remote-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for fitness entrepreneurs.
- Mentor and pair with team members to foster professional and technical growth.
- Write predictable, readable, simple, and flexible code to improve platform functionality.
- Enhance the scalability and performance of the platform.
- Apply Agile Lean methodologies supported by DevOps and CI/CD practices in software development.
Requirements
- 7 years of industry experience in a software engineering role where you can demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the product and or the team.
- Hands-on experience with Golang.
- Experience with Cloud preferably AWS.
- Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods in an Agile Lean Continuous Delivery environment.
- Solid knowledge of Quality and Testing principles.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
- Desire to help and mentor others.
