Job Description
An Operations Innovation Consultant at Zartis is responsible for auditing and optimizing workflows, implementing automation solutions, researching innovative technologies, and supporting operational and strategic initiatives to improve organizational efficiency and scalability across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and design automated, scalable solutions.
- Lead the rollout and seamless integration of automation solutions across departments.
- Research and pilot innovative technologies such as AI, automation, and no-code tools to enhance service delivery.
- Act as an internal consultant to refine operational sub-systems and ensure strategic alignment.
- Optimize workforce allocation by streamlining workflows and managing internal tools and solutions.
- Lead initiatives to obtain governmental R&D tax credits and incentives, and identify organizational improvements.
- Establish and manage process governance to maintain operational standards.
- Provide high-level support to Operations and Finance teams to resolve complex systemic problems.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to support long-term scaling.
- Create and maintain documentation for new innovations to ensure sustainability and knowledge sharing.
- Analyze data to inform operational improvements and develop actionable dashboards using BI tools.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, and managing internal tool stacks.
- Experience managing a backlog of tasks and allocating cross-project workforce resources based on priority and skill set.
- Familiarity with the documentation and requirements needed for R&D tax credit applications or similar governmental filings.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools to transform raw data into actionable stakeholder dashboards.
- At least 4 years of experience in Business Operations, Management Consulting, or a high-growth startup environment where processes have been built from scratch.
- Proven track record of internal consulting working with Finance, HR, and software engineering teams to solve their specific bottlenecks.
- Experience in presenting complex operational shifts to senior leadership and obtaining buy-in for new governance structures.
- The ability to see how a change in one department (e.g., Finance) will ripple through others (e.g., cross-functional workforce team) (Systems Thinking).
- Comfortable shifting from high-level Governance strategy to hands-on Backlog troubleshooting on the same day (Adaptability).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and identify data points required to fix broken processes (Analytical Mindset).
