Job Description
The Summer Internship at Zanskar offers exposure to geothermal energy development, focusing on research, project finance, and strategic decision-making to support the company's efforts in making geothermal a cost-effective renewable energy source.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research related to geothermal projects
- Assist with fundraising efforts
- Run special projects and prepare related documents and presentations
- Work with the Finance team and Management to support investment decisions
- Gain understanding of geothermal industry, project finance structuring, modeling, and execution
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an MBA program or equivalent graduate-level business program.
- Ability to conduct research related to geothermal development and industry trends.
- Experience or ability to assist with fundraising efforts for geothermal projects.
- Capability to run special projects and prepare documents and presentations for external stakeholders and internal decision makers.
- Ability to work directly with the Finance team and Management to advance investment decisions regarding geothermal projects.
- Understanding of the structuring, modeling, and execution of project finance transactions.
- Knowledge of corporate strategy related to geothermal energy projects.
- Willingness to interface with multiple teams including land acquisition, development, exploration, and R&D teams.
- Strong communication skills to prepare high-impact deliverables and presentations.
- Ability to work under the direction of finance development managers and collaborate with cross-functional experts.
