Job Description
The Senior Computational Geophysicist will analyze electromagnetic and potential fields data from geothermal sites to develop accurate subsurface models, focusing on automating inversion workflows that incorporate geological constraints to improve geothermal exploration and reduce development risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze real field data from active geothermal sites to develop subsurface interpretations.
- Streamline and automate inversion workflows incorporating structural, lithological, and hydrothermal constraints.
- Ensure geological accuracy of models reflects subsurface reality rather than just mathematical fit.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience in electromagnetic and or potential fields methods relevant to geothermal exploration.
- Ability to take real field data from active geothermal sites and turn it into defensible subsurface interpretations.
- Experience in streamlining and automating inversion workflows that incorporate structural, lithological, and hydrothermal constraints.
- Proficiency in developing models that reflect geological reality, not just a mathematical best-fit.
