The Solar Project Technician is responsible for on-site and remote monitoring of solar tracker projects, compiling reports, and supporting project activities, with a heavy travel requirement primarily in Utah, Nevada, and California.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site activities related to solar project installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Monitor solar sites remotely using the Nevados Dashboard and compile reports on site performance.
Travel extensively (over 50%) to project sites across Utah, Nevada, California, and other regions as needed.
Analyze data and generate reports to support project performance and reliability.
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project progress and issue resolution.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience with reporting and data analysis, strong computer savviness, and experience with Microsoft tools, including Excel.
Candidates must be willing to travel greater than 50% of the time, including travel to project sites primarily in Utah, Nevada, and California, with potential to expand to other areas in the near future.
Candidates must be based in a region that allows easy travel to project sites.
Candidates must be willing to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other potential events as needed.
