Job Description
The Project Geologist, Partnerships supports collaborative geothermal projects by providing subsurface interpretation, coordinating technical workflows, and translating geoscience into actionable insights to de-risk opportunities from exploration to development readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Support collaborative geothermal projects with external partners from exploration to development readiness
- Provide high-quality subsurface interpretation to de-risk geothermal opportunities
- Coordinate technical workflows across project teams
- Translate geoscience data into actionable development insights, including drill targets
- Oversee drilling activities and ensure technical soundness of project plans
Requirements
- Possess the ability to support collaborative geothermal projects with external partners from early exploration through development readiness, ensuring projects are technically sound, well-defined, and positioned for successful advancement and investment.
- Provide high quality subsurface interpretation to support geothermal project development and de-risk geothermal opportunities across the full project lifecycle, including early-stage exploration, development planning, and diligence.
- Coordinate technical workflows related to geothermal projects to ensure seamless project progression and collaboration.
- Translate geoscience data into actionable development insights, including identifying drill targets and overseeing drilling activities.
- Have the ability to support partnership projects by de-risking geothermal opportunities across the full project lifecycle, from early exploration through development planning and diligence.
