Job Description
The Project Finance Senior Analyst supports financial modeling, analysis, and strategic decision-making for geothermal projects, working closely with senior management to structure and execute project finance transactions aimed at advancing geothermal energy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses to evaluate the economic viability of geothermal projects and guide investment decisions.
- Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions, including debt and equity financings.
- Conduct valuation, capital allocation, and deal structure analysis for individual projects and the overall portfolio.
Requirements
- Supporting the Head of Finance in financial modeling and analysis related to the economic viability of geothermal projects.
- Performing financial analyses such as valuation, capital allocation, financing, and deal structure to guide key investment decisions on individual geothermal projects and across the portfolio within the first six months.
- Becoming intimately familiar with potential capital permutations, structure sensitivities, and value levers relevant to geothermal project finance.
- Working closely with cross-functional experts in land acquisition, development, exploration, and other groups involved in geothermal project development.
- Working directly with the Head of Finance and senior management in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions, including debt and equity financings for infrastructure projects.
