Job Description
The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles and equipment, including off-road vehicles, construction tools, and drilling equipment, to ensure their proper operation and longevity in support of geothermal energy exploration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair company vehicles and equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on off-road vehicles, light construction tools, and shallow drilling equipment
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently during maintenance and repair tasks
Requirements
- Possess the ability to operate heavy machinery, as the position is expected to operate heavy machinery.
- Pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening and background check, as all job offers are contingent upon passing these screenings.
- Be available to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, day-shift position, with opportunities for overtime.
- Have experience in maintenance and repair of all company vehicles and equipment, including off-road vehicles, light construction tools, and shallow drilling equipment.
- Possess the skills necessary to perform maintenance and repair tasks to ensure proper operation and increase the lifespan of vehicles and equipment.
