Job Description
A Drilling Engineer or Senior Drilling Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and executing geothermal drilling campaigns, overseeing technical, operational, and business aspects to develop new geothermal resources and improve drilling safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute drilling campaigns for geothermal wells
- Own the technical, business, and operational aspects of drilling projects
- Monitor drilling operations in the field and optimize drilling processes
Requirements
- Experience in leading the design, planning, and operational execution of drilling campaigns for geothermal wells, including temperature gradient wells, production wells, and injection wells, as well as well completions.
- Ability to own the technical, business, and operational aspects of drilling projects.
- Proven experience in monitoring drilling programs in-field and identifying ways to drill safely and more rapidly in frontier geothermal systems.
