Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Xpansiv is responsible for initiating and developing new business opportunities across various product lines in the energy and environmental commodities markets, focusing on early-stage customer engagement and pipeline creation to support the company's mission in accelerating the global energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and develop new business opportunities across all product lines
  • Engage with potential customers early in the sales process
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Collaborate across markets, registries, data solutions, power services, and environmental instruments

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably early in a sales career.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, organization skills, and motivation related to the clean energy transition and supporting technologies.
  • Ability to initiate and develop new business opportunities across all Xpansiv product lines, including markets, registries, data solutions, power services, and emerging environmental instruments.
  • Effective in pipeline creation and early-stage customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse market participants and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and internal teams during the sales process.
  • Relevant knowledge or understanding of environmental commodities, energy markets, or related environmental instruments is preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
  • Willingness to participate in a structured interview process including resume screening, interview with the hiring manager, and meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Legal authorization to work in the region where the role is based (implied by the regional salary mention for New York).
